Shared Hosting Terms
These terms apply to shared hosting supplied directly by CloudHosting.lu, together with our Service Terms, Billing, Cancellation and Refund Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
1. Your hosting plan
Your order identifies the storage, websites, email, databases, support and other features included in the plan. Shared infrastructure is used by several customers, so the published resource and acceptable-use limits apply. A plan upgrade is required where your needs exceed those limits.
Keep your website software, passwords and account access secure. Application administration, updates or other managed work is included only where your order expressly provides for it. Managed services are business-only and subject to the Managed Services Terms.
2. First-year pricing
Eligible directly supplied shared hosting plans have an introductory price for the first 12 months, as shown in the offer and your order. The offer applies to the hosting plan only. Domains, licences and other separately priced services are excluded unless expressly included in the offer.
The first-year amount, billing period and renewal price are shown before you order. After the introductory period, the plan renews at the applicable standard rate, with notice of any change as required by the contract and law. The discount does not create a free trial, a money-back guarantee or a waiver of statutory rights.
3. Cancellation and refunds
We do not offer a voluntary 30-day or other money-back guarantee. Once hosting is activated, we do not provide change-of-mind refunds for the agreed service period. Cancellation prevents a future renewal when received by the applicable deadline; it does not reverse the period already purchased.
Refunds required by law, corrections of billing errors and remedies for services we fail to supply remain available. Existing customers retain any guarantee that formed part of their accepted order. See the Billing, Cancellation and Refund Policy for cancellation and consumer information.
4. Backups and availability
The backup features included in your plan are governed by the Backups Policy. Keep independent copies of important data. Any applicable uptime commitment is explained in the Service Level Agreement; maintenance follows the Server Maintenance Policy.
5. Abuse and the end of service
Spam, child sexual abuse material, phishing, malware and other prohibited activity may lead to immediate protective action under the Acceptable Use Policy. Serious or repeated abuse may result in termination.
Before the service ends, export the website, databases and email you need and arrange any migration. Access ends with the service. Domain registrations and third-party subscriptions have their own renewal and cancellation rules.
