To ensure stability and reliability, Cloudhosting.lu requires clients to adhere to this Acceptable Use Policy. Please read it carefully before using our Services.

1. General Obligations
Your usage of Cloudhosting.lu services must be legal and not violate third-party intellectual property rights. You are responsible for your content, IP disputes, and compliance with applicable laws.
- Illegal or malicious activity, including hacking, phishing, spamming, botnets, port scanning, or malware distribution, is strictly prohibited.
- Unauthorized access to data or systems, and privacy violations are forbidden.
- Operating VPN or proxy services on our Services without our consent is not allowed.
- Any other activities deemed abusive or prohibited by this Policy are not allowed.
2. Acceptable Resource Usage
Users are allocated resources according to their hosting plan. Excessive resource usage affecting server performance is prohibited and may result in limits, suspension, or termination.
- Limits may apply to email accounts, inbox size, database size, disk usage, bandwidth, and other resources.
- Resources must be used for hosting websites, emails, and related services within the plan’s scope.
3. Shared Hosting Usage
Fair use limits ensure reliability for all users:
- Multimedia must not exceed 10GB per account.
- Email mailbox size should not exceed 20GB.
- Databases >10GB are considered excessive.
- Backups must be minimal; excessive backups may be deleted.
- Software downloads ≤1GB; CDNs may be required.
- Resellers with “unlimited” accounts using >400GB must manage sub-accounts ≤50GB each.
- Offsite backups, file sync services, and software repositories are prohibited.
Adult content and regulated industries require prior approval. Mailbox usage must follow limits, and uploaded files must be publicly accessible unless necessary for website operation.
4. Acceptable Email Usage
Cloudhosting.lu has a zero-tolerance policy against spam. Abuse may result in account suspension or termination.
- No emails that cause annoyance, distress, or are offensive or unlawful.
- All emails must include a clear opt-out policy.
- No unsolicited bulk emails or “mail bombs.”
- Maintain accurate headers and authorized email addresses.
- Ensure servers are not open relays.
- Comply with applicable spam and data protection laws.
5. Reseller Accounts
Suspended reseller accounts may be terminated after 60 days without backups. Resellers must communicate promptly to avoid data loss.
6. Notification & Resolution
Violations may result in immediate action. Fair use violations may have a 24-72 hour grace period before suspension.
7. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cloudhosting.lu and affiliates from any claims or losses arising from your use of the Services.
This obligation survives termination of your contract.
8. Revision of Policy
Cloudhosting.lu may update this Policy anytime. Customers are responsible for reviewing it regularly. Contact support via our portal for questions.
