Restrict Admin Access

This built-in security tool helps protect a website from brute force attacks by restricting access to the wp-admin page by IP.

This tool can be enabled/disabled at hosting package level.

WARNING

This functionality is only available if you are running Apache web servers.

Restrict access by IP

To restrict the WordPress login access:

1. Open Websites in the left sidebar
2. Locate the website you want to restrict access to and click Manage.
3. When the website dashboard loads select Apps
4. Select Manage on the WordPress application you want to restrict access to.
5. Scroll to General
6. Toggle Restrict admin access on
7. When the IP address field appears, enter your IP and select Add
